Cape of Storms Caipirinha
Updated: Jan 11
The caipirinha (pronounced kai-purr-REEN-yah) is the national drink of Brazil and is also the countries most popular cocktail. While a Caipirinha is usually made with cachaça, a cousin to Rum, we have taken this simple but tasty cocktail and made it our own by including some local ingredients as well as our Rum.

Ingredients:
50ml The Great White Rum
1/2 a Lime
20ml Simple Sugar Syrup - Recipe
Soda or Sparkling Water
Ice (Preferably Crushed)
Instructions:
Cut 1/2 a Lime into three smaller wedges, before adding them to a glass, give them a good squeeze.
Add Simple Sugar and The Great White Rum, stir well.
Fill glass with ice and stir once again.
Top up glass with soda or sparkling water.
Add a dash of Mutiny Orange Bitters and enjoy!
